37Sq Media builds tools for Framer. This policy explains what data our products handle, where it goes, and what we keep. If you have questions, contact us at hello@37sq.media.
Image Library
Most of what Image Library does happens entirely inside Framer, on your own machine. Scanning your project for images, searching and filtering, inserting and replacing images, locating them on the canvas, editing alt text, and compressing images all run locally in the plugin and send none of your project data to us.
A small number of actions contact our backend:
Activation. When you enter your license key, the key is sent to our backend to confirm your purchase with Polar, our payments provider. Once activated, the plugin holds a session token, and it is that token, not your license key, that is sent each time the plugin launches to confirm your plan.
AI alt text (Pro and Agency plans). When you generate alt text for an image, the image or its URL is sent to our backend along with your account identity. Our backend forwards the image to Anthropic, which generates the description and returns it. Images sent for alt text are not used to train models, in line with Anthropic's commercial API terms, and we do not store them.
Service providers
Image Library relies on three providers:
Cloudflare hosts our backend.
Anthropic generates AI alt text. See Anthropic's privacy policy on anthropic.com.
Polar handles billing and license management. See Polar's privacy policy on polar.sh.
What we keep
We keep a subscription and usage-quota record associated with your account email, maintained through Polar, and a hashed session token. We do not store the images you process or the contents of your Framer projects.
What we do not do
37Sq Media does not sell your personal data, and our products do not contain advertising.
